After waiting for more than a week and a half, we got our passports back yesterday with our multi-entry Schengen visa. It was nerve wracking as we already bought our tickets for our flight next Monday.
Right now, we have to finalize all the hotel bookings, rail pass and stuff to bring. We’ll be travelling to Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin/Munich (still undecided), Prague, Vienna, Venice, Florence, Vatican and Rome. Some might say it’s a ridiculous and tiring trip but for me, it’s going to be an adventure I won’t forget. It’s like the amazing race! hehehe!
Let’s see.. here’s the itinerary we have so far:
Sep 29 to Oct. 1 (Paris) Fly out of Beijing at 645am with Aeroflot to Paris with a stopover in Moscow for almost 2 hours. Arrive Paris at 14:35. Visit Louvre, Eiffel Tower, walk along the River Seine, Champs Elysee, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Place De Concorde and Louis Vuitton (hahahaha!). If we have time, I want to visit Paris Disneyland.  Depart Paris on Oct. 1 at 22:45 to Munich.
Oct. 2 (Munich) Arrive Munich (08:58) in the morning, tour around the city and visit one of the beer halls/gardens for the Oktoberfest.  Catch the last train (22:42) out of Munich to Amsterdam.
Oct. 3-4 (Amsterdam) Arrive Amsterdam at 08:56 in the morning and visit Anne Frank’s House, Van Gogh museum, Royal Palace and Dam Square. Depart Amsterdam on Oct. 4 at 19:03 to Prague.
Oct. 5-6 (Prague) Arrive Prague at 09:33 and visit Charles Bridge, the Castle, Old Town Square and the city center which they say steeps with history and very nice architecture. Depart Prague at 17:33 and arrive in Vienna at 22:03.
Oct. 7 (Vienna) My birthday! We’re going to watch the Vienna Boy’s Choir! Hahaha.. then see some sights such as The Parliament, Imperial Boulevards and City Hall. Depart Vienna at 20:40 to Venice.
Oct. 8 (Venice) Arrive Venice at 08:45 and take a gondola ride along the canals. Visit St. Mark’s Square, Bridge of Sighs and the Doge’s Palace. Leave Venice the next day at 06:43 to Florence.
Oct. 9 (Florence/Pisa) A couple of hours in Florence and a couple of hours in Pisa to take a shot of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Take the evening train (19:00) to Rome (22:28).
Oct. 10 (Vatican) Visit the pope, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican city walls. They said it’s going to be a long hike. I hope my legs are still ok by then.
Oct. 11-12 (Rome) Visit Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, eat Gelato, The Pantheon, Piazza Navona, The Forum, Eat Pizza and pasta.. hopefully we have time to shop in Prada!  ETD 240pm to Beijing via Moscow.
That’s it! Hectic right? I’ll update it after we finalize it by tonight. Starbucks lovers, I’ll hunt for your tumblers. As of last count, there’s Gold, Jensy and Instinxx.
