After watching the play last year at Poly Theatre, I was waiting for this movie to be shown in Beijing. Alas, it was not meant to be. So, I downloaded the movie from isohunt.com and have to bear watching the movie on my laptop computer.
The story of Mamma Mia is about a young bride-to-be in search of her real father. Through the diary of her mom, she found that there are 3 possible men who could be her father. The 3 men arrived a day before her wedding and the young lady was trying to hide them from her mother. With a mix of music from Abba which were incorporated into the story, it became a warm, light comedy perfect for romantics. In the end, it was the mother who got married to one of the men. The young lady went off to the mainland to explore the world with her guy.
